Built for growing integration companies

More time selling. Less time buried in proposals and problem jobs.

Growth creates a familiar squeeze: the owner is selling, estimating, designing, managing technicians, ordering equipment, and still getting the difficult troubleshooting calls.

Integrator Workbench adds experienced capacity exactly where the workload is backing up—without changing how you serve your customers.

Four ways to strengthen your team

Support from opportunity through project completion.

01

Design & Proposal Support

Turn opportunities into practical, sellable projects with experienced system design, equipment selection, takeoffs, labor estimating, scopes, and proposals.

  • System design
  • Material & labor takeoffs
  • Scope and proposal development
Our goal

Remove the bottlenecks between opportunity and proposal—stepping in wherever the process is slowing down so you can deliver a clear, polished, and accurately scoped proposal efficiently.

Project Documentation

Give technicians the information they need before they arrive—organized around how the system will actually be installed and supported.

  • System drawings & schedules
  • Rack and wiring documentation
  • Closeout and as-built packages
Our goal

Provide exactly the level of documentation your team needs—from detailed drawings, cable schedules, and precise rack layouts that simplify installation, troubleshooting, and airflow planning to a straightforward elevation rendering that helps communicate and sell the concept.

Remote Technical Support

Add a senior set of eyes when a design, configuration, product, or troubleshooting problem is slowing down your team.

  • Technician troubleshooting
  • Control4 programming
  • Product research & recommendations
  • Configuration, design & second opinions
Our goal

Become the experienced resource your team can call when the usual answers are not working—the seasoned voice in the office who can research the problem, suggest the next test, or recognize a solution you may not have considered yet.

  • Control4 programming
  • Commissioning & project recovery
  • Emergency troubleshooting
Our goal

Be your “let me call a guy” resource when nothing else is working. From difficult project takeovers and commissioning problems to the one issue that refuses to make sense, we bring field experience, a fresh set of eyes, and a practical path forward.

Contractor-friendly by design

A simple way to add experienced capacity.

  1. 1

    Share what you have

Plans, photos, customer notes, equipment preferences, site information, or the problem your technician is facing.

  2. 2

    Confirm the assignment

You receive a clear scope, price, deliverables, and expected turnaround before work begins.

  3. 3

    Stay customer-facing

Integrator Workbench works behind the scenes while you keep the customer relationship and present the finished work as your own.

Built in small shops, for small shops

Experience that understands the whole job—not just the drawing.

Integrator Workbench is built on more than 25 years spent inside small integration companies—from one-person operations to teams of three or four installers.

That experience began in the early 2000s, when HDTV was just arriving and the work still included attic antennas, punch blocks, analog telephone systems, in-wall volume controls, and impedance-matching speaker systems. The technology has changed considerably, but the need for thoughtful design, practical field knowledge, and dependable execution has not.

Working in small companies means learning every side of the business: installation, troubleshooting, system design, estimating, proposals, project coordination, customer communication, and the constant decisions an owner-operator must make every day.

Over the years, we have also supported numerous integration companies as a subcontractor and behind-the-scenes extension of their teams. That experience taught us the importance of respecting each company’s standards, customer relationships, product preferences, and way of doing business.

Integrator Workbench brings that same approach to every assignment: understand your company’s vision and strengths, then help turn them into a complete, well-considered system—straightforward for the customer to use and logical, precise, and practical for the technician to install.

Common questions

A flexible working relationship, without the guesswork.

Do you work directly with our customer?

Usually, Integrator Workbench works behind the scenes through your company. Direct customer participation can be discussed when it makes sense for the assignment.

What information do you need to begin?

Send what you have: plans, photos, notes, device counts, equipment preferences, customer requirements, and deadlines. We will identify anything important that is missing.

Can you support an unfamiliar or difficult system?

Often, yes. We will first confirm that the system and problem are a responsible fit for our experience and available resources.

Do you provide engineering stamps or life-safety design?

Not as a standard service. Fire alarm, life-safety, and work requiring a licensed engineering stamp should remain with appropriately licensed professionals.

Start with the opportunity in front of you

Have a project, proposal, or troubleshooting problem that needs experienced help?

Start with a short project check-in. If the opportunity looks like a fit, the next step captures the technical details needed for a productive review.
